FEELING THE HEAT

Seeing Heat Exhibition Opening

About

Join us for the Seeing Heat Photography Exhibition, featuring selected photographs from the 2025 Seeing Heat Photography initiative.

Last year, the ‘Seeing Heat’ photography competition invited amateur and professional photographers to ‘see heat’ and document its impacts on the  population and the environment. It aimed to visualize the invisible impacts of ever-increasing temperatures on towns & cities in Jamaica.

The exhibition explores experiences of extreme heat in Jamaica while opening space for conversation on climate awareness and adaptation. It is a cross-disciplinary forum to discuss the uneven impacts of heat in Jamaica through visual narratives, data and policy.
