CARIBBEAN URBAN FORUM 2026

Living Lab Tour & Mixer

About

In the summer of 2025, Island City Lab and partners began construction of the Abilities Foundation Living Lab project, which includes a series of rain gardens, bioswales, and other landscape interventions to reduce flooding on the school's campus. Phase 1 was completed in December of last year.

As part of the 15th annual Caribbean Urban Forum, Island City Lab & Abilities Foundation are hosting a Tour and Fundraising Event at the Living Lab project site. Join us as we celebrate the completion of Phase 1, reflect on the experience, and share thoughts on deploying nature-based solutions across the island. The event will include:

  1. Guided Tour
  2. Panel Discussion with Project Partners
  3. Drinks and Light Refreshments
  4. Roundtrip transportation from Pegasus.
