About

Extreme heat has been described as the “silent and invisible killer of silenced and invisible people”. Those who work outdoors in construction, security, agriculture, and other manual occupations do not have the luxury of seeking shelter during the hottest points of the day.  As they work outdoors, they swelter more in the heat and are at greater risk. In this webinar, we talk with La Isla Network, which works in partnership with various industries to reduce the harm to outdoor workers of extreme heat.
